Barbara Sobbell Memorial Grant
This grant is in memory of the late Barbara Sobbell, mother of Michael Sobbell, the Founder of Autism on the Seas.
Michael was adopted by his mother Barbara, and his late father Joseph Sobbell, at the age of 3 months. This grant will be provided to families who have adopted (or who foster) children with special needs, to acquire the Autism on the Seas professional staffed cruise services. Michael and his family created this grant to give honor to his parents and especially to Barbara who was instrumental in assisting Michael in the office of Autism on the Seas when the organization first started, in 2006. Autism on the Seas will also be waiving their Service Fee for each recipient family.
