Help me to help well-deserving families have a memorable vacation.
While the experience of living with & caring for someone with autism can be an absolute gift, the daily challenges can also be great and require constant devotion from each family member/caregiver.
Fortunately, the non-profit organization - Autism on the Seas - makes it possible for these families to enjoy a relaxing and unforgettable vacation by offering accommodated cruise services and professional assistance.
This is where I come in - as one of the volunteers for Autism on the Seas, I provide skilled support to families throughout their travel experience (i.e. boarding/disembarking process, meal times, pool time, respite sessions, off-ship excursions, etc.) to promote piece of mind, facilitate happy memory-making, and ensure smooth sailing (pun intended).
This volunteer effort is mainly funded by Autism on the Seas, but there are some out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. flights, hotels, on-land transportation, etc.). With that, any help to cover these expenses would be greatly appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.
